Install on Linux AMD64
Install the x86_64 package on an Intel/AMD Linux machine.

Confirm uname -m reports x86_64. Download Linux AMD64, not ARM64, and verify its size and SHA-256. Follow the exact installation instructions accompanying that release; packaging formats and prerequisites are not interchangeable.
Graphical first launch
Use a normal desktop user and a working display/OpenGL stack. Keep your projects separate from immutable application files. Check a small paused scene before running a complex project. Customer activation must use secure local storage and Workcell-managed authorization.
Server installation
For a VPS, choose headless automation for command-line jobs, or remote desktop for the full graphical workspace. Installing a package alone does not create a display server or qualify GPU rendering.
