Sign out, recover and change device
Keep projects while removing customer authorization safely.
Read as MarkdownBefore signing out
Save your project and decide what to do with running work. Sign-out removes local customer authorization; it must not delete project files or pretend that the subscription is cancelled. Use billing management separately to stop renewal.
Online and offline sign-out
Choose Sign out in Access & billing and confirm. Online sign-out revokes the current entitlement and clears local secure storage. Stop running tasks in other windows first; sign-out is not a Stop command. Offline sign-out can clear local authorization without confirming server revocation. Treat an unconfirmed revocation honestly and contact support if the device or token may be compromised.
Reinstall or replace a computer
Do not purchase a second subscription merely because the app was reinstalled. Recover the existing subscription through verified Workcell support if the original activation is inaccessible. Keep a private backup of your projects. Never copy owner account directories, secure-store files or another customer's activation between computers.
Recovery needs proof
A billing email or screenshot alone is not sufficient authorization. Support must establish subscription ownership before replacing an installation or revoking a lost device. Current self-service recovery availability is shown by the installed release; this guide does not claim it is enabled when it is not.
Data choices
Local project removal, managed-data erasure, subscription cancellation and sign-out are different operations. Review privacy before requesting deletion; required billing records can have separate retention obligations.
