Updates, rollback and uninstall
Change application versions without losing project work.
Read as MarkdownBefore updating
Save projects, stop active jobs and keep a backup. Read release notes and platform requirements. Download only a listed immutable artifact, verify its checksum and signature where applicable, and retain the previous qualified version.
Verify the new version
Install using the platform's documented installer. Reopen a small project and verify the displayed version, native startup, conversation recovery and activation. Do not edit a content-addressed application object in place or overwrite a running application with arbitrary source files.
Rollback
Use the previous verified installer or documented rollback target if the new version fails. Preserve projects and histories made since the update; do not blindly replace user data with an old application backup. Report both versions and the observed regression to support.
Remove the application
On Windows, use Installed apps or the supplied uninstaller. On Linux, use the removal instructions matching the package format. Keep project and user-data deletion separate and explicit. Uninstalling or deleting local credentials does not cancel a paid subscription—manage renewal through billing first.
