# Your first Workcell project Go from installation to a reviewed simulation change. ## Start with the right download Choose your operating system and CPU on [Downloads](/downloads/). An ARM64 package does not run on an AMD64 computer, or vice versa. Public installers are listed only after qualification; a missing download is not an instruction to use an unofficial mirror. ## Open a small, paused project Keep the world, controllers and dependencies in one writable project folder. Start with the supplied lightweight project. Inspect the scene tree, floor and camera before running physics. On a modest ARM64 laptop, keep simulation paused until you need it. ## Make one understandable change Try: ‘Inspect this project's files and explain its robot, sensors and controller. Do not change anything.’ Review approval requests before allowing actions. Next, ask for a small change, inspect the candidate and explicitly Apply it. AI output is a proposal, not proof that an engineering design works. ## Validate and keep your work Run an appropriate simulation, inspect its measurements and save your project. Compare what changed and keep a recovery revision. See [Plan and review](/docs/plans-and-review/) and [Simulation](/docs/simulation/).
